Ki One Eagle Korean Single Malt 43% ABV

Eagle represents the second pillar of Ki One, the bold flavors and influence imparted by barrels from America. Matured in a vatting of ex-bourbon as well as virgin oak barrels sourced from Missouri, Eagle packs all the robust punch you would expect from a whisky aged in new oak. Full of aromatic rich malt, the flavor is akin to maple syrup, vanilla, and warm banana pancakes.

Ki One Tiger Korean Single Malt 46% ABV

Tiger represents the first pillar of Ki One Distillery which is South Korea, specifically its people. This single malt takes its inspiration from the award winning Ki One Batch 3 Sherry Cask that was a runaway success internationally. Matured in sherry barrels as well as wine casks for a minimum of 3 years, this single malt leans into ripe, fruit forward aromas evocative of stewed plums, honey, and red apple. Deeply flavorful, Tiger is full of rich oak, followed by apple skins, nutmeg, and lingering spice.

Ki One Unicorn Korean Single Malt 46% ABV

Unicorn is the third pillar of Ki One, representing master distillery Andrew Shand and the complexity of peated scotch whisky. Matured in the same combination of barrels as the Ki One Eagle, this expression uses malted barley that boasts a robust 50 parts per million of peat. Aromas of fall leaves and camp smoke are present as well as sea air and rich oak. The flavors are unmistakably smokey but with a delicacy that betrays its heavy peating. Smoked honey, warm grains, and a pleasant umami finish.

JUNG ONE GIN 47% ABV

Meaning Garden in Korean, Jung One was created to showcase the beauty of its local botanicals. In addition to the traditional ingredients like juniper, coriander, and citrus peel; local botanicals are utilized as well. Korean Sansho Pepper, baby ginseng, pine needle and perilla leaves take center stage along with their more traditional counterparts. The gin’s base is a single malt spirit that undergoes two copper pot distillations before a twenty-four-hour infusion with its botanicals. After the maceration Jung One gets a final distillation and is botted at 47% abv. The result is a singularly unique Korean Gin full of malty texture and delicate fragrance representative of its terroir.

Ki One x Chef Edward Lee Red Pepper Cask

The Ki One x Chef Edward Lee Edition marks the first collaboration between these two complimentary voices in Korean flavor. Inspired by the appeal for Korean Red Peppers, and the seemingly endless craze for the spicey condiment gochujang, this one-of-a-kind whisky marries the delicate spice of Ki One’s single malt with the spicy intensity of dried red peppers. Ex-bourbon and New American Oak casks are seasoned with gochu (Korean Red Peppers) before adding new make whisky to absorb all their spicy complexity. The result is a smoothly fruit forward single malt whisky that finishes with the intense kick of red peppers. Akin to the pairing of sweet ripe mango with chili powder, this cask strength collaborative whisky packs a punch and exists as an experience all its own.

Ki One x Park Ki Woong Special Reserve PX Sherry Cask

Introducing Special Reserve, a limited series highlighting Ki One’s whisky philosophy alongside the natural flavors of Korea’s cultural character. This first edition was created through a collaboration with actor and artist Park Ki Woong, whose work is a whimsical pastiche of pop culture images assembled from Korean, Japanese, and American iconography. This “Future Super Whisky” draws inspiration from his piece “On the Rocks” and its message - “Life is risky, pour some whisky.” Master Distiller Andrew Shand personally selected casks used for this release, deciding to focus exclusively on PX sherry hogshead for its maturation. The whisky is big and bold with plenty of rich raisiny goodness imparted from its sherry cask aging. It finishes long and spicy with a burst of red fruit that will make you believe in the specialness that its name implies. This is indeed the “Future Super Whisky” that every collector needs.

Ki One Eagle Cask Strength Single Malt 2025

Ki One Eagle Cask Strength is a limited edition released only once each year and this is its first appearance stateside. This batch is exclusively available at Hi Proof Whisky & Spirits & Wine in Fullerton California. While it uses the same barrel make up as the base expression, each of these annual releases is built to be a new expression of the whisky itself. The 2025 edition is inspired by the image of an eagle soaring straight upward, capturing a deeper, more intense whisky character through an undiluted cask strength bottling. Made with unpeated malt and matured in both bourbon and new oak casks for over 4 years, Ki One Eagle Cask Strength is a big whisky. Opening with rich oak and sweet caramel, it develops into spice laden vanilla wafers and deeply complex dried fruit. The finish is slightly spicy with a coffee like bitterness that draws you back for more.

Ki One Tiger Cask Strength Single Malt 2025

Ki One Tiger Cask Strength 2025 is a once-a-year limited release, crafted with a distinct blending and maturation approach to create a bolder, deeper “Tiger” style. Matured exclusively in sherry, and red wine casks for no less than four years, it is bottled undiluted at cask strength. The result is a whisky full of concentrated dried fruit, honey, and butterscotch that is balanced by Ki One’s signature Korean spice. The finish lingers with dark chocolate, raisin, and syrupy red fruit, making this the perfect cold weather dram.

Ki One Batch 1 is the highly anticipated full-size release from Korea’s first single malt distillery Three Societies. This Korean single malt is matured exclusively in new American oak for just over two years and is bottled without chill filtration. Aromas of rich oak, vanilla, and buttery caramel emerge welcomingly from the glass. The whisky offers delicate flavors of banana and peach before finishing with assertive Korean spice. Batch 1 is a just the beginning for Three Societies and is a sign of even more greatness to come.

KI ONE KOREAN SINGLE MALT BATCH 3 46% ABV

Three Societies Ki One Batch 3 is the first limited production run in the growing series of Korean Single Malt Whiskies. This release was matured in oloroso sherry casks for no less than three years and won a Gold Medal at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards. Welcoming aromas of dried, ripe fruits and rich spice greet the senses before the boldness of the palate is revealed. Flavors of rich butterscotch, walnut, raisin, and stewed plum meld into a lovely dram that gives way to a lively finish of apple, oak, and spice. This fantastic single malt furthers the argument that Three Societies is worthy of all its praise.

KI ONE KOREAN SINGLE MALT BATCH 4 PEATED 40% ABV

Ki One Batch 4 is the first peated single malt release from Three Societies in south Korea. Leaning further into master distiller Andrew Shand's Scottish heritage this limited edition whisky is made with malted barley measured at fifty parts per million of smokey peat. A cigar lover's whisky, the aromas bring all the herbal freshness and smokey spice that one would expect from a peated single malt. Flavors of dried orange peel, baked apple, sweet plum, and cinnamon all make an appearance before a pleasantly long earthy finish.

KI ONE SOCIETY COLLECTION

Society Collection's first product is the Tiger Edition which represents Korea. Tiger Edition will release 1506 bottles which celebrate the date of first distillation 15/06/2020.

The Society Collection consists of three animal editions - Tiger, Unicorn and Eagle - that symbolize the guards of the Three Societies Distillery.

The Society Collection is made with all the same spirits distilled on the 7th of July 2020. These three limited edition impressions are to showcase our maturation process of local single malt before the general release. We hope you can collect all three editions and enjoy tasting our progress.

KI ONE TIGER EDITION 56.2% ABV

SOCIETY COLLECTION

This is the first whiskey release from Korea’s first single malt distillery, Three Societies. The tiger is one of three animal guardians who festoon the distillery’s crest. Ki wan (Ki One) in Korean translates to “the beginning and hope.” The Tiger Edition is the first in a series of three whiskies from the same distilling run on July 7th of 2020 that will be released at different maturation points to illustrate the unique seasonal aging of Korea’s climate. Despite its youth, this single malt just north of one year old, packs the vibrancy of a much more mature whisky. Oak and spice intermingle with the delicacy of ripe stone fruit and vanilla pods. Tiger is an exciting sign of things to come from this landmark distillery.
